Yogesh Santosh Abdar, a 26-year-old from Yavali village in Mohol taluka, Solapur district, resides with his parents. He is the only son of Santosh Abdar.The family, originally farmers, owned 1.5 acres of ancestral farmland in Yavali and a few milch cows, which were their only source of livelihood.Due to limited education (up to 8th grade), Yogesh helped his father in farming, while Santosh began working as a tractor driver in the village to earn extra income.
Life was content, and the family was self-sufficient. Recently, Santosh even arranged Yogesh’s marriage, believing they had everything they needed for a stable future.But fate had other plans. Yogesh’s motorcycle was hit by a tractor, leaving him with severe head injuries and trauma to his skull. He underwent a critical surgery in a private hospital in Solapur, where part of his damaged skull was removed. The medical expenses so far have reached ₹13 lakh, which Santosh managed by selling their farmland and all their cows.Now, Yogesh requires two more surgeries—Cranio and Duroplasty—to reconstruct his skull. These procedures, to be conducted in a private hospital in Pune, will cost an additional ₹3.5 lakh. With no assets left except their small hut, Santosh is tirelessly working to gather funds to save his son’s life.Santosh Abdar appeals:“My son is fighting to rebuild his life.
