About the Organization:
Sevadham Trust is a registered Public Charitable Trust, established in 1978 and registered under the Bombay Public Trusts Act, 1950 (Reg. No. E-617). Right from its inception in 1978 it has been working for the last 47 years for the welfare of under-privileged & underserved communities in Rural Tribal area & in urban slums.
Issue:
Sevadham Trust addresses these challenges through community-based, sustainable, and participatory interventions in health, education, women empowerment, child development, elderly care, HIV/AIDS prevention, tribal welfare, and skill development. Our approach combines grassroots engagement, peer-led implementation, government collaboration, and innovative social development models to create long-term impact.
Action:
Over the last 47 years, Sevadham Trust has positively impacted lakhs of lives across Maharashtra through healthcare services, tribal education, women self-help groups, HIV/AIDS prevention initiatives, elderly support programmes, child participation projects, watershed development, and community empowerment initiatives supported by national and international agencies.
