Sahil had always been a dreamer. Growing up in the small village of Otur in the Junnar taluka, his aspirations seemed distant and out of reach. His family struggled to make ends meet, and the local school lacked the resources needed to provide a quality education. However, fate had something remarkable in store for Sahil and his fellow students.
A Shining Beacon of Hope Comes To The Village
One sunny morning, the village of Otur buzzed with excitement as the Sakal India Foundation and Roche Information Solutions Pvt. Ltd. came together in a joint venture to bring the gift of e-learning to their community. Sahil could hardly contain his curiosity and hope as he made his way to Sri Sant Gadge Maharaj Education Complex.
The atmosphere at the event was electrifying, with prominent figures like Dr. Sanjay Chordia and Snehal Chordia from the Suryadatta Group of Institutes, Assistant Police Inspector Sachin Kandge, Extension Officer Mangal Dumbare, Sushila Dumbare, and Nitin Patil, Director of Gadge Maharaj Education Complex Otur, all present. Sahil felt a sense of importance and promise like he was part of something big.
A Donation That Changed Lives
The highlight of the day was the distribution of e-learning sets. Sakal India Foundation generously donated three sets to Sant Gadge Maharaj Secondary School and two sets to Shree Gadge Maharaj Primary Ashram School in Otur. Two more sets were sent to Sant Gadge Maharaj Vidya Niketan Secondary School in Pimpalgaon Joga, while one set each found their way to Zilla Parishad Primary School in Dhavashi and Zilla Parishad Primary School in Kulvademala in Udapur. Nine e-learning sets with curriculum were distributed in total, offering an opportunity that seemed impossible not too long ago.
But the generosity didn't stop there. The teachers of these schools received training on how to effectively use the e-learning resources, ensuring that the children would make the most of this precious gift.
Sachin Kandge, the Assistant Police Inspector, couldn't help but express his admiration for the work of Sakal Social Foundation and Sakal India Foundation. He believed that providing digital courses to rural tribal students would transform their lives, creating future officers, doctors, engineers, and scientists.
As the event continued, Dr. Sanjay Chordia, deeply moved by the arrangements at Shree Sant Gadge Maharaj Education Complex and Ashram School, announced two scholarships worth Rs. 11,000 each. This commitment to education left Sahil and his peers with tears of gratitude in their eyes, knowing that their dreams were now within reach.
For Sahil, that day marked the beginning of a new chapter in his life. The e-learning sets and the support of the community were the tools he needed to chase his dreams. As he stared at the digital screen, absorbing knowledge he had never imagined having access to, Sahil knew that he was on the path to becoming something great—a testament to the transformative power of generosity and education.
