Bharat Jodo Yuva Academy was handed over the funds collected for its hospital for cancer patients
Social for Action had shared on its platform the information about Sane Guruji Hospital, a non-profit organisation, its activities and the health services provided by it in the tribal-dominated Kinwat in Nanded district. Dr Ashok Belkhode started the hospital under his NGO ‘Bharat Jodo Yuva Academy’ and it proved to be a boon to the people of the area because good healthcare facilities didn’t exist there.
Social for Action had shared how Dr Belkhode and his associates are making an effort to complete an ambitious project of building a 100-bed multispecialty hospital equipped with all amenities. The crowdfunding platform had also made an appeal for financial assistance so that the Good Doctor and his team can set up a 10-bed palliative care unit for cancer patients. Donors responded enthusiastically to this appeal. The funds collected through crowdfunding were handed over to Bharat Jodo Yuva Academy.
