On May 2, 2021, in the first part of the publication, I came to know about the “Eklavya Bal Shikshan and Arogya Nyas”, an organization of Renutai Gavaskar, a senior social worker, which has become a source of love for neglected children. Also, on May 16, 2021, in the second part of the publication, I learned about how the “Eklavya Child Education and Health Trust” has become a boon for many neglected, out-of-school, unaccompanied parents and children in observation homes. Both articles have received spontaneous responses from Maharashtra for financial support for the Eklavya Child Education and Health Trust, and many charitable individuals and organizations have approached the Eklavya Child Education and Health Trust.
But considering the scope of problems of economically backward, deprived, and out-of-school children and understanding their need for help, Kudal, Dist. About 2.5 acres of land at Sindhudurg has been given to Eklavya Child Education and Health Trust through a donor. A number of buildings such as separate dormitories for boys and girls, informal schools, skill development training centers are to be set up at this place. The cost of materials required for erection and hostel is high. Fundraising is underway. Therefore, the Eklavya Child Education and Health Trust still needs this help. This article appeals to the generous people of society and private companies to come forward for help.
Work on the Kudal hostel and school construction project is currently in progress. With the strong support of the Rotary Club, a cultural hall has been built that will allow about fifty children to sit comfortably and participate in various cultural events. The construction of the girls’ hostel is almost complete. Construction of a children’s hostel is in progress. The organization has taken a borewell here for water and the borewell has also got good water. But when the spade gets electricity twice a week, the borewell closes and there is a huge inconvenience of water. The organization needs a generator to avoid water inconvenience. The entire area of the hostel is three acres. The entire area needs to be fenced off for the safety of children. Apart from this, the organization needs help to procure the necessary physical types of equipment (beds), educational equipment, and cultural equipment for the hostel and cultural hall.
Renutai wants to build a beautiful home for the children who come here to study on the one hand and live in the institution on the other. For this, Eklavya Trust is in dire need of financial assistance. It is difficult to achieve the goal of the development of disadvantaged children without the active support of society. Efforts are being made by Renutai and his colleagues to get the Kudal project operational as soon as possible. “Eklavya Child Education and Health Trust” is an organization that stands on the donations of philanthropists.
