Issue:
For this, Prasad has sold his five acres of land in his native village of Irlewadi and has taken the rightful land at Morvanchi in Solapur district for the project. Construction of "Prarthana Balgram" is underway on the site with the help of community donors. Today, the majority of grandparents are living in miserable conditions on the side of the road without any support. Some have children, but they are not taken care of even though they have relatives. The old age home will be started along with the residential school for the homeless through the organization for the rehabilitation and care of such homeless grandparents so that their future life will be comfortable and happy. The construction of the old age home is also underway. The project "Morale" is run through the organization for the destitute and mentally ill people living on the streets. By going into these people and talking to them, an attempt is made to understand their grief. Many people fall ill and are taken to the hospital for treatment. Many homeless people have had an accident. But due to untimely treatment, people who are suffering from insect bites and death are admitted to the hospital for treatment a nd an attempt is made to save their lives. Through the "Active Youth Dialogue" initiative for the youth, the sessions on various topics that come to the minds of the youth are filled with awareness sessions. Also their questions are solved with the help of guides. Menstrual counseling and health camps are conducted for women and adolescent girls living in the slums. Anu and Prasad are implementing various such initiatives through "Prarthana Foundation".
