About the Organization:
The Devta Life Foundation, an organization based in Nagpur, works for children under the age of twelve with cancer. Kishor Bawne, a social worker from Nagpur, organized the 'Devata Life Foundation' in 2015 with the aim of supporting children and parents suffering from cancer, raising awareness about cancer and its treatment, providing appropriate treatment and medicines to children immediately, and building their strength and positive attitude to fight cancer. When you hear the word cancer, the ground beneath your feet slips. If there are children in this, then the condition of these children and their families is very fragile. Some of these things can save lives by overcoming diseases like cancer if we work on them carefully.

Issue:
A little girl named Prachi Dhak was diagnosed with blood cancer. The organization adopted her in her twelfth year for treatment, providing immediate treatment. She was treated for almost a year. The angels of the organization were in constant contact with her, but three years later, her cancer recurred. The organization again helped her with her treatment. Prachi always went to the treatment laughing and playing. She underwent chemo and overcame cancer for the second time. Devata Life Foundation was with her and her family in all these processes. She is now eighteen years old. To appreciate her courage and to spend some happy moments with her, the organization decided to celebrate her 18th birthday. On the day of the birthday, all the angels came together & all the other children were also called. They made cakes, balloons, gifts, and wished Prachi and gave her eleven thousand rupees for her education and medicine. Today Prachi is living a healthy life in her home. Other social activities are also carried out by the organization. It also includes health check-up camps, distribution of free educational materials, skill camps for boys during summer vacations, and distribution of bicycles to school-going girls. Last year, on the day of Vijayadashami, 'Devata Seva Sangh' was established. The Vande Mataram Raktadan Mahayagya Rally was organized by Devata Life Foundation from 2nd October to 15th October last year. The purpose of this rally was to create awareness about blood donation in the whole of Maharashtra. On behalf of the organization, he appealed to people from all districts of Maharashtra to come forward to donate blood. The majority of cancer patients have a persistent need for blood. Blood was supplied to many needy and sick people through this blood donation. Hundreds of people donated blood and helped save the lives of many. The organization initially adopted 18 children to help treat cancer. Twelve of them today are cancer-free due to the efforts of the organization. In addition, twelve new children have been adopted for treatment. The organization wants to help treat many such children and for that, they need to get help from all levels of society.

Action:
The 'Devata Life Foundation' started working on early cancer screening and early diagnosis and proper treatment of patients as well as social awareness about cancer in the society. The Devta Life Foundation has set up a panel of activists called 'Devdoot' to reach out to such children and provide them with cancer treatment, and public awareness. Children under the age of 12 are adopted by the Devata Life Foundation for the treatment of cancer. Such children are treated in government medical hospitals. These children are assisted by the Devata Life Foundation for each month's medical, blood, and other medical expenses. The majority of parents come from Nagpur as well as the surrounding rural areas for the treatment of their children. The angels of 'Devata Life Foundation' are constantly visiting such children with cancer and are always ready to meet their needs.
